Welcome to Prince William Soccer’s Adult League

Prince William’s Adult League program has been around for 10 years now.  The League has grown to 3 seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall) and over 120 teams compete across the year.  The Adult League is played on a smaller field with 6 field players and 1 goalkeeper. This league is designed to give players more touches on the ball and to produce a fast paced exciting game with end to end action. The Adult League is played on PWSI’s world class turf fields. Games are 50 minutes in length. 


The League Currently has 5 divisions. Below is each division with a quick synopsis of it:

Men’s Open:  Must be 18 years or older to play in this Division.  Games are generally played on Monday Nights at Howison Park.  Normally between 8-12 teams per season.

Men’s Over 30: Must be 30 years or older to play in this Division.  Games are generally played on Tuesday Night’s but there is the occasional Wednesday or Thursday night match at Howison Park.  Normally between 12-16 teams per season.

Men’s Over 40: (New Division): Must be over 40 years old to play in this Division however, each team is allowed to have 3 over 35 years old players rostered, only 2 can play in a match.  Games are generally played on Wednesday or Thursday nights.

Coed Open:  Must be 18 years or older to play in this Division.  Teams must have at least 2 female players on the field at all times.  Games are generally played Wednesday Nights at Howison Park. Normally between 8-12 teams per season.

Women’s Open:  Must be 18 years or older to play in this Division.  Games are generally played on Thursday Night.  Normally between 4-8 teams per season.

The cost is a per team fee of $825.

If payments are not completed once games have started, scores will be recored as a 0-3 loss and will not be changed back.


Team Captains/Coaches will register the team.  After they have registered the team they have the ability to invite players to join the team.    There is a 20 player per team maximum.

Team Registration: Captains will need every players e-mail address, DOB, and gender before beginning registration.  The captain will register a new team by paying the initial deposit for the season.  Once that is done they will have access to add players to their team and have players pay towards the team fee.  Once you enter an amount for a player to pay, that player's fee can no longer be changed.

**Refund Disclaimer:  All payments made for the Adult League are team fee payments.  Teams have until the last day of registration (for each season) to request a refund*.  Refund will not be given to teams in any instance once the Adult 7v7 Season has begun.  Refunds will not be given to any individual player.

Individual Registration:  

The Adult Leagues no longer offer individual registration.  What we now have is a free agents page where teams looking for players can be listed and contacted.  Should we have enough free agents so interest in a certain league, we would look to create a team.  Free agents should contact Maddie Hartman at and include the name, email address, and preferred league(s) of play.

Rosters and Waivers:

All players participating will be required to sign an electronic waiver with their signature.  Player that have not signed the waiver will be ineligible.


All teams must have numbered shirts for every player participating.  Teams don’t have to have exact matching shirts but they need to be very close in color.  Example: a light blue shirt cannot be worn for a team wearing dark blue.  League referees will make the call on whether the shirt is good enough to be worn. 

Teams that don’t have matching uniforms will be able to play their matches but the result will be marked down as a 3-0 forfeit.  Individual players on teams that don’t meet uniform requirements will not be allowed to participate in that match.  Trading shirts during matches is not allowed.

If your team would like to place a T-Shirt order with the club, please email Maddie Hartman at with the number of shirts in each size and the color your team would like. T-Shirts are $8 each. Do this before the deadline or your order will not be processed.

Game Day ID and Date of Birth Verification:

All rostered participants will have to bring an ID to their match in order to play.  The ID must match a player’s name on the roster.  The ID must have a photo of the player along with their date of birth in order to be considered valid.  Please plan on arriving 15 minutes before your match is scheduled to begin in order to check in with the referee.
