PWSI Players Show Well at Event
Five Players Make "All Event Team"
Five Prince William Players were named to the Atlantic Soccer Leagues (ASL) All-Event Team, at this years first ASL event. Girls Players Madison Hammond (97 RG), Sylar Dowell (96RG) and Boys Players Gerson Umana-Alfaro (97 RB), Evan Szklennik (95RB), Rahim Costa-Dorsey (94RB) were the PWSI players named to the Bethesda All-Tournament Teams. Congrats to each player and all the PWSI teams for a great showing at the first ASL event!
PWSI to be well Represented at Upcoming ODP Event
4-PWSI players were selected to participate in the ODP Interregional Event in Boca Raton, FL. The event which has you play the three other Regional ODP teams, plus the US National team in your age group, is being played November 20-25. PWSI players participating include Annah Lindberg with the 96 Region I team (95 Gold Girls), Caroline Kearns with the 97 Region I team (96 Red Girls), Zach McMurrer with 98 Region I Team (97 Red Boys), and Trey Vinson with U14 National Team (97 Red Boys). Congrats and good luck to all.
PWSI Coach Named Virginia Youth Soccer Girls Competitive Coach of the Year
93 Red Girls Head Coach Joseph Appodaca was awarded girls competitive coach of the year by Virginia Youth Soccer Association this past week. All of us as at PWSI would like to congratulate Coach Appodaca for this award, his hard work and dedication to this program!
PWSI 94 Red Boys Capture State Cup Title
95 Gold Girls and 96 Red Girls Lose Heartbreakers in Pk's
Last year their State Cup Run ended in Heartbreak but this year the 94 Red Boys played heartbreaker with a 1-0 Win over FC Reston. Zack Hopkins scored on a free kick, in what proved to be the winning goal. Congratulations to the 94 Red Boys!

Join USWNT Players for "Let's Move" Initiative
First lady Michelle Obama joins the Anderson Monarchs Girls Soccer Club (in red) from Philadelphia and the Prince William Courage Soccer Club (in white) in a few games of soccer on the South Lawn of the White House. They played together as part of a “Let’s Move!” clinic hosted by first lady Michelle Obama and members of the U.S. women’s national soccer team designed to highlight the importance of physical activity. PWSI is proud to announce that it's Select Program has join the Virginia Club Champions League beginning in the Fall 2011 Season. PWSI is very excited to have the opportunity to join such an outstanding league. Click here to read the full press release. PWSI will be joined by Annandale Boys and Girls Club, Arlington Soccer Association, Braddock Road Youth Club, Fredricksburg Area Soccer Association, Great Falls Soccer Club, Loudoun Youth Soccer Association, and Southwestern Youth Association.

For U15 - U18 Boys' Teams
The Courage Select Program is proud to announce that we have joined a new organization called the Atlantic Soccer League (ASL) with our U15 – U18 Red boys’ teams. The mission of the ASL is to provide non US Soccer Development Academy clubs in the East coast region a high quality boys’ league in a showcase format that has significant games, limits expenses, and provides a platform for collegiate recruiting.
