Prince William Courage Partners with IHN Sports

For Immediate Release

August 17, 2022

Woodbridge, Virginia

Prince William Courage is excited to announce our partnership with IHN Sports. IHN Sports is a local non-profit organization that provides direct support to players involved in PWSI Programs. Their contribution to the Prince William Soccer community will be felt amongst our players through our direct support program, the Courage Financial Assistance program.

IHN Sports recognizes the pivotal role that youth sports can play in a child’s life. As a 501c3, their mission is to make sure that every child gets to experience the pride and comradery that comes with being a part of the team. IHN Sports website, ihnsports.org, history states that “seeing numerous benefits that come from playing youth sports and the increasingly high costs to play in the area, we formed our organization to provide a solution for those who find it difficult to come up with the growing costs of local league dues. We promote sportsmanship, teamwork and volunteerism to help children in our community not only be a part of the team, but become better humans.”

At Prince William Courage we hold those ideals at a high standard and want to ensure that all players have an opportunity to play regardless of financial means. Over the past 10 years Prince William Courage has offered financial assistance to our Classic and Select players annually providing upwards of $50,000 to support players in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with IHN Sports in order to expand our ability to support players directly.

Look for IHN Sports booths at future Courage events including Diversity Day in September 2022. For more information on how you can support IHN Sports visit ihnsport.org. If you want to contribute to support PWSI’s Financial Assistance program pwsi.org/donate.
