COURAGE 2025-26 DISCOVERY SESSIONS & COMPETITIVE TRYOUTS
Why Join Courage Select?
- Access to top level coaching based on club wide curriculum.
- Our Top teams play in the club based Virginia Premier Soccer League's (VPSL) ECNL Regional League. This provides opportunities to attend national showcases and ECNL-RL Playoffs if qualified. This includes 2025 Regional League Champions: Boys 2006/07 RL as well as League Runners-Up: Boys 2008 RL
- Players afforded opportunities to be seen by VDA ECNL staff for training/promotion opportunities.
- Teams attend & place in some of the top tournaments and showcases including Jefferson Cup, Loudoun Showcase, VDA Showcase, Bethesda Premier Cup, NCFC Tournament Series, Arlington ASIST, and more
- A proven pathway to college and professional levels including 2023 MLS Draft Pick Tyler Clegg. Assistance with college recruiting from senior staff with a long history of college placements. Each team and player has access to an online player profile (U16 and older).
- Access to Veo cameras for teams to record games and training sessions. Providing opportunities for High School aged players to send video to college coaches.
- Online learning within team, age group, and club wide programs.
- Player evaluations and commitment to player development by one of the inaugural members of the US Club Player First license.
Identification Process:
- Any Player from inside or outside the club, PWSI Select, Classic, or Recreational may attend tryouts, in addition to any players from other clubs.
- Player pre-registration is required at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled tryout or discovery session.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
- Coaches from within the age group, technical staff, & additional coaches will facilitate at least 3 identification sessions held in April and May.
- Play your best!
- All players will be notified whether or not they make a team.
- Players will receive a formal offer from PWSI via email and are required to make the first payment within 72 hours of receiving the notice.
